OCEAN CITY, Md. (WTVR) – The Outer Banks and Virginia coasts are not the only places experiencing signification damage from storm surge.
The powerful storm has done major damage to the downtown pier in Ocean City, our sister station, WJZ reports. The damage started overnight as the storm began to pound the resort town with massive wind and rain.
The pier is at the southern end of the Boardwalk, which has been under a mandatory evacuation order since Sunday afternoon because of flooding.\
