STUDIO CITY, Ca. (WTVR) – Police, responding to a 9-11 trespassing call, arrested an intruder armed with scissors who jumped a fence at Miley Cyrus’ home Saturday.

It happened in Studio City, California, overnight outside the singer and actress’ home. She was not home at the time of the incident.

Those who were staying at Cyrus’ house called police, when the man reportedly refused to leave.

By the time police arrived, the man had lit candles outside the home.

Authorities said they had to Taser the man, who was found in the bushes, when he refused to come out and cooperate with police.

“I am a friend of Miley Cyrus. I am. She’s my wife. Me and Miley have been friends for five years,” said the man, who told police his name was Jason Luis Rivera.

KTLA-TV reports that the man, who was booked on burglary and trespassing charges, has no prior arrest record in California, but has a lengthy record in Texas.
