More than 144 Professional Women Golfers from all over the world are in Richmond for the LPGA Symetra/2012 eagle Classic. Events and tournament continues through Sunday, August 19 at The Richmond Country Club.
Tournament, Events and dates include: Wednesday, August 15, 7pm: Meet the Pros Party to benefit FeedMore. Thursday, August 16, 1pm: Second Round/Am Tournament, “Wounded Warriors” Outdoor Concert 7pm with The 392nd Fort Lee Army Pop Band, free and open to the public. Friday, Round 1, 7:45am – Tournament begins theme “Women in Golf Day” ; Saturday – Round 2, 7:45am – Tournament continues theme, “Family Fun Day” ; Sunday – Final Round 7:45am, Awards Ceremony and “Military Appreciation Day”, free to all current military personnel & veterans and their families.
