ASHLAND, Va. (WTVR) - Mitt Romney made a couple stops in the Richmond area on Saturday. His first stop was at Homemades by Suzanne.
He's not the only political candidate that stopped by. In 2008, the then Vice President nominee Sarah Palin paid a visit.
On Saturday, Henrico Congressman Eric Cantor was there to help drum up support for Romney.
According to reports, Romney spent $60 on chocolate, pecan, apple and coconut pies.
People waited for hours for Romney to show up. After he did, people said it was worth the wait.
One woman said, "I had always wanted to meet some of the presidential candidates, and I could never see what was going on. So I took advantage of today."
