American Cancer Society’s Inaugural Pink Ribbon Tea

Tea anyone? You can have yours hot or cold Sunday, July 15 for the American Cancer Society's first annual Pink Ribbon Tea to celebrate Breast Cancer Survivors and remember those lost to the disease. The event is at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Downtown Richmond from 3 p.m. - 6 p.m.

The mid-afternoon tea event features a hat fashion show modeled by breast cancer survivors and a silent auction with prizes that include tickets to Virginia Beach as well as restaurants gift certificates. Shannon Taylor, Henrico County Commonwealth Attorney serves as the Pink Ribbon Tea's honorary Chair, Maya Payne Smart, author and writing coach is the guest speaker, Kat Simons from Lite 98 is the host and CBS 6's Antoinette Essa is the emcee of the hat fashion show.
