HENRICO, Va. (WTVR)- Henrico Police were able to quickly apprehend a suspect in a Sunday morning robbery of a west end gas station.
Police tell CBS 6 they received a call at 8:25 a.m. Sunday reporting that the Citgo Station near the Tuckernuck Square Shopping Center had been robbed. Upon arrival, police learned that a man armed with a handgun entered the store, located near the corner of W. Broad St. and Tuckernuck Dr., stole money, and fled the scene.
Less than 30 minutes later, police say they apprehended a suspect in the crime near Stillman Parkway and W. Broad St., and have taken him into custody.
