HANOVER, Va. (WTVR) – The Hanover County Sheriff’s Office says they are investigating a crash that sent six people to the hospital.
Sgt. Chris Whitley says it happened shortly before 9 p.m. on Pole Green Road, west of Lee Davis Road.
Deputies were called for a head-on collision, with a report of one of the vehicles being on fire because of the impact.
EMS and fire crews responded to the scene to extinguish the fire and transport six people to the hospital. Deputies say it involved a 1999 Saab and a 2002 Chevrolet Blazer.
CBS 6 has been told the cause of the crash is under investigation.
