RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Folks who wanted to exercise, enjoy the beautiful weather and learn more about the River City took part in a unique event Saturday.
The GO! Discover Richmond walk features some similarities to the former Stride Through Time event.
In fact, Richmond’s history remains a major focus of the event, but there are some new elements.
This year there is an all new 10k course, as well as a shorter 3.6-mile course.
Walk up registration was accepted at 7 a.m. and the event officially got underway at 8:30 a.m.
