A man arrested in Oklahoma early Friday morning had a portable meth lab explode in his pants, according to CNN.
David Williams was a passenger in a car that got pulled over by the Oklahoma State Patrol in Okmulgee County. When the trooper started questioning Williams about a chemical smell in the car, Williams took off running.
Trooper Shiloh Hill quickly caught up with him, and discovered what he was carrying.
“After a brief struggle it was determined there was an active meth lab in his pants that burst during the struggle and got all over his body,” said Hill.
The portable meth process is incredibly dangerous, because it involves putting the chemical ingredients in a single container, then flipping it upside down to mix it.
The built-up pressure makes the mixture highly explosive.
