Richmond Police Athletic League’s year-round programs, summer camps

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - Richmond PAL, Richmond Police Athletic League goes into its 21st year with continued service to the children of Richmond with year-round programs and summer camps.

These programs and camps offers opportunities through sports and education for underprivileged kids. Registration is now on going.

Kids ages 6-13 can participate in boxing, basketball, tennis, soccer, football, golf, lacrosse, kickball and field trips that include Kings Dominion June 25 through August 16. SGT. Perry Barber says the program helps keep kids busy and off the street and many of the group's counselors are Richmond Police Officers

PAL is also looking for sponsorship for some children who can not afford the $700 fee for the eight weeks of camp.

You can do this either directly or by sponsoring a hole at the Chief's Challenge Golf schedule May 29th at Stonehenge Golf & Country Club.
