RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – A house suffered serious damage in an early morning fire Wednesday.
That fire started just after 3 a.m. in Richmond’s Montrose Heights neighborhood, firefighters arrived to the house on Bailey Avenue but didn’t see any visible signs of a fire.
Soon after crews discovered a fire burning in the attic, after about 40 minutes, they got that fire under control.
CBS 6 has learned two people were inside, but managed to get out safely. They’re being helped by the Red Cross.
The cause of that fire is still under investigation.
