RICHMOND, Va. - This morning, Lindo Gharib, district president at Robert Half, joined us to talk about “windowed work.” It’s a new schedule structure where employees are able to structure their days in clusters of time as opposed to the more traditional 9-5 work week. This shift has come largely due to COVID-19, as the world had to adapt to working indoors from home, and yet has become a largely accepted and embraced format for many workers. Windowed work allows individuals the flexibility to take care of their personal obligations, families and social lives while maintaining their productivity at work. As we shift back into the old normal, Lindo expects some of these ideas to get integrated into the traditional work week.
