WILLIAMSBURG, Va. -- There is even more to see and do at the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg! They're celebrating the completion of a nearly $42 million project which added 65,000 square feet.

We talked with Ronald L. Hurst, Colonial Williamsburg’s Carlisle H. Humelsine chief curator and vice president for museums, preservation and historic resources, about the project.

The expansion broke ground in April 2017. It adds 25 percent more exhibition space, a new entrance, a cafe and museum store, among other enhancements.
