RICHMOND, Va. - With schools closed due to COVID-19, the Virginia Lottery and the Thank a Teacher campaign encourage students and parents to participate in their program and share virtual appreciation for their favorite teachers. By visiting the Thank a Teacher website, families can send virtual thank you notes to their teachers. Teachers will then use the code they are provided to register online for the chance to win a Virginia-themed vacation. Additionally, the schools of the winning teachers will receive a $5,000 Supply Room credit.
