RICHMOND, Va. - Each year, the Junior League of Richmond hosts an annual book and author event. This year’s event will be virtual to maintain social distancing, but the celebration of literature will continue. Today, Jessica spoke with Grady Hendrix, author of The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires, who will be featured during the event. In his conversation with Jessica, he shared a bit about the book, the book tour and the importance of book clubs.
The 75th Annual Book and Author Event is the longest-standing book and author event in the country. It will be held this Thursday, May 7 at 7 p.m. on Crowdcast and will feature six engaging authors. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased on the event website by clicking here. For more information on the great work of the Junior League of Richmond, visit their website.
