Richmond’s 12th annual citywide back to school rally

RICHMOND, Va. – Northside Coalition for Children, Inc. is a nonprofit organization with the mission of providing free school supplies to students and teachers in the Richmond region. This year, their 12th annual back to school rally has been adjusted with a new safety plan to ensure that the risk of exposure to the coronavirus is as low as possible. An emphasis is placed on backpacks and school supplies as there will be no vendors this year. Carver Elementary School is the proud host of this event on Aug. 1st from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., or until all of the available supplies have been claimed.
