RICHMOND, Va. – Puritan Cleaners, The Flying Squirrels, and WTVR CBS 6 are hosting the Ballpark Warming @ Puritan Party! It's a Coats For Kids drive-thru coat donation event at Puritan Cleaners’ Staples Mill Road location this Saturday, November 14th, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
For 11 years, we’ve joined forces at the Diamond to keep kids warm at the annual Ballpark Warming Party. 2020 may have changed our plans, but it won’t stop us from collecting coats! It’s a different location with the same community spirit. Come out on November 14th to the Puritan Cleaners at 1807 Staples Mill Road and donate a gently used or new coat. All sizes are welcome, but children’s coats are especially needed!
The Puritan Cleaners team will unload your coats while you enjoy waving with familiar Flying Squirrels faces like Nutzy, Flingo, the Mixed Nuts and more - all from the comfort of your car. You’ll also see friends from CBS 6.
