RICHMOND, Va. - Roses have provided the joy of beauty and fragrance for centuries. The oldest of roses are referred to as old garden roses and are staples at floral competitions. Today, Lisa Caperton, a passionate amateur antique rose enthusiast, shares tips for growing the most beautiful roses, even in the humid Virginia climate. Lisa is a member of the Boxwood Garden Club, the Richmond Rose Society, and the Flower Guild for St. Stephen’s. Additionally, she serves as the Central Region Chair for Historic Garden Week.
