RICHMOND, Va. - The Garden Club of Virginia’s Historic Garden Week 2020 has been canceled due to the coronavirus. The annual event would have taken place April 18-25.

In its 87 years, Historic Garden Week has been canceled only once before — in the middle of World War II.

Tricia Garner, state chair of Historic Garden Week, joined us by Zoom to talk about the long history of the event and the impact it has had.

This year, The Garden Club of Virginia is marking its 100th year. The Club’s mission is to create a greener, more beautiful Virginia for all to enjoy.
