RICHMOND, Va. - Capitol Opera Richmond provides a performing venue for local singers, musicians, directors and choreographers. Their new production is “The Marriage of Figaro,” the comic opera composed in 1786 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Today, we talk with vocal coach James Taylor, and hear a stellar performance by Mezzo Soprano Hannah Magnelli. Capitol Opera Richmond presents Mozart’s “The Marriage of Figaro” on stage next Friday, February 28th and Saturday, February 29th at 8 p.m. followed by a matinee performance on Sunday, March 1st at 2 p.m. All shows will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church on Monument Avenue.
