RICHMOND, Va. -- Unleash your inner chef and have a dinner date at home. Chef Theresa Headen of Elegant Cuizines shows us how to make a delicious dinner for two, featuring Ginger Orange Sesame Lamb Chops with a Butternut Squash Green Bean Stir Fry.

Recipe

  • Lamb chops
  • 1 Tablespoon of Ginger root
  • The juice of 1 Orange
  • Teaspoon of Sesame seeds
  • ½ cup Brown sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon of Garlic powder
  • 1 Teaspoon of powder
  • Fresh parsley
  • Fresh Rosemary
  • 1 Teaspoon of Chef Headen all purpose spice
  • Butternut squash
  • Red onion
  • Green beans
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  1. Combine the brown sugar, fresh orange juice, ginger, garlic powder, onion powder, chef headen all purpose spice, and sesame seed in a bowl
  2. Place lamb chops in the bowl with brown sugar and spice mixture to season
  3. Preheat griddle for lamb chops
  4. Season green beans and squash with all purpose spice and herbs
  5. Drizzle griddle with olive oil and place lamb chops in the pan, cook for 10 min
  6. In a separate pan, lightly sear seasoned vegetables
