RICHMOND, Va. -- A woman is in police custody after police say she and another man exchanged gunfire in Richmond Monday afternoon.

Police say the woman and man exchanged gunfire in the 1700 block of E. Broad Street after a dispute.

No one was struck and there are no known injuries, according to police.

Police say the woman accused of firing shots was detained for questioning. The incident occurred around noon Monday, police said.

The shooting was located near protests for Gun Lobby Day, but was unrelated.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
