Woman charged in Richmond crash that killed motorcyclist

RICHMOND, Va. – Police have identified the man killed in a motorcycle crash on Jefferson Davis Highway in South Richmond Sunday afternoon.

The motorcyclist has been identified as 25-year-old Tony T. Bredsoe, of the 1400 block of Lenmore Street.

“At approximately 5:23 p.m. yesterday, Bredsoe was traveling north in the 4700 block of Jefferson Davis Highway on his motorcycle and struck the rear of a pickup truck that was attempting to make a U-turn in the 4600 block of Jefferson Davis Highway near Calverton Street,” said a Richmond Police spokesperson.

Bredsoe was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the pickup truck, Dinora D. Franco De Ramos, 24, remained on scene. She has been charged with failure to yield the right-of-way and no operator’s license.
