Teen killed in Richmond shooting

RICHMOND, Va. -- A teen was killed and a man injured in a double shooting in Richmond last Thursday night.

Officers responded to reports of shots fired on the 3000 block of Nine Mile Road around 7:30 p.m.

There, they found a 16-year-old boy collapsed inside a convenience store. He had been shot outside the store, police said.

A man, who suffered non-life threatening injuries, was also shot.

The teen was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Police have not yet released information about a suspected shooter, nor information about that may have led to the shooting.
