HOPEWELL, Va. -- A missing man Hopewell man last seen Friday morning has been located.
Police said 72-year-old Robert Lee Smith left his residence in the 200 block of South 14th Avenue at 10 a.m. and had not returned.
Officers later said just after 9:05 p.m. Friday that Smith had been found and was safe.
Police said Lee suffers from Alzheimer’s and may have been headed to Petersburg.
