PETERSBURG, Va. -- A man has been charged with murder in connection to a fatal shooting in the City of Petersburg.
The shooting occurred at the intersection of Seaboard and Church Streets on October 8, 2020.
The victim, 25-year-old Tyrell Fields, was transported to the hospital where he died from his injuries.

The suspect, Jaquan Anderson, was taken into custody on October 30. He was previously charged with use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, reckless handling of a firearm, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Tuesday, Anderson was charged with murder. He remains incarcerated.
