RICHMOND, Va. — The Virginia Commonwealth University Board of Visitors will hold an in-person and virtual meeting on September 17 and 18.
The meeting will be held in both open and closed sessions in the James Branch Cabell Library at 901 Park Ave at 1 p.m. on September 17 and 8 a.m. on September 18.
All participating in the meeting in person must physically distance, wear clean masks inside buildings and outside in high-traffic spaces, and wash their hands frequently.
Preference to attend the meeting in-person will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. The first 10 individuals to register will have the opportunity to attend in person; individuals beyond the first 10 may watch the open sessions via the Livestream.
Anyone who would like to attend the Board of Visitors meeting in person must register by providing the following information via email by sending their name, email and phone number, VCU affiliation, (e.g. student, faculty, employee, alumni, parent or member of the public), identify which date(s) you plan to attend, and any requests for reasonable accommodation if needed to bov@vcu.edu.Please note in the subject line that you are registering to attend the September BOV meeting. In accordance with standard board procedures, there will be no opportunity for public comment during the meeting. Comment forms prepared by the Virginia Freedom of Information Advisory Council regarding the meeting experience will be made available to the public at the meeting.
