RICHMOND, Va. -- GRTC will resume normal service Sunday for normal routes, but customers are warned there could be delays and detours because of the ice storm.
"GRTC may need to implement Snow Routes on Sunday, or only on certain routes," officaisls said.
The transit agency did not run bus routes on Saturday because of the storm.
"Snow routes avoid hazardous streets around the system that are challenging to navigate in inclement Winter Weather," the spokesperson's email explained. "Buses display an alert message on the electronic exterior signs, saying, 'SNOW ROUTES IN EFFECT,' to notify customers that buses are on snow routes."
