Free COVID-19 testing events offered in Richmond and Henrico

RICHMOND, Va. – Three COVID-19 community testing events have been scheduled for the week of July 20th in the City of Richmond and Henrico County.

Tuesday, July 21 - Hotchkiss Field Community Center (Richmond)
Time: 9AM-11AM
Address: 4701 E Brookland Park Blvd, Richmond, VA 23222

Thursday, July 23 - Randolph Community Center (Richmond)
Time: 4PM-6PM
Address: 1415 Grayland Ave, Richmond, VA 23220

Saturday, July 25 - Fairfield Middle School (East Henrico)
Time: 9AM-11AM
Address: 5121 Nine Mile Rd, Richmond, VA 23223

All three events will be held rain or shine.

The free testing is being offered for people who may not have insurance, or whose insurance does not cover COVID-19, who have COVID-19 symptoms, who are pregnant, are age 65 and older, or have underlying medical conditions.

Testing will be conducted by appointment to facilitate safety and social distancing.

To register for testing, call the Richmond and Henrico COVID-19 hotline at 804-205-3501, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday (except holidays).

Walk up testing is available to persons who meet testing criteria, but is not guaranteed due to limited availability.

Individuals will be notified of their results in 5-7 business days. If notification is not received after 7 business days, call the Test Results Hotline at (804) 486-2107.
