Child pornography investigation leads to Tacky Lights Tour home

HANOVER COUNTY, Va. -- A man whose home in known for its elaborate Christmas light display was arrested on possession of child pornography charges.

"On February 26, 2020, a search warrant was executed at a residence in Mechanicsville," Hanover Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Sgt. Steve DiLoreto wrote in an email. "Subsequently, William Michael Yauger, Jr. was arrested."

Yauger was jailed, with no bond at Pamunkey Regional, on the felony charge.

Investigators have not yet discussed what led them to search the Mechanicsville home.

The house has appeared on the annual Richmond Tacky Lights Tour of over-the-top Christmas light displays and was recognized as a past Let It Glow winner.
