Richmond chef Brittanny Anderson to compete on Top Chef Portland

RICHMOND, Va. -- As if running multiple restaurants during the pandemic was not hard enough, Richmond chef Brittanny Anderson is about to appear on one of the country's most popular cooking shows -- Top Chef.

Anderson, on Monday, was announced as a contestant on Top Chef Portland.

She will be one of 15 chefs from around the country vying for the title of Top Chef.

Anderson runs Metzger Bar and Butchery in Church Hill, Brenner Pass and Black Lodge in Scott's Addition, and Leni in Washington, D.C.

On the Eat It, Virginia! podcast, she told Scott Wise and Robey Martin about her rise from West End chain restaurants to multiple James Beard Award nominations.

Top Chef debuts April 1.
