GLEN ALLEN, Va. -- The annual Christmas at Granny's craft show this weekend in Glen Allen will help raise money for an area school for children with autism.
Every room at the Virginia Cliffe Inn is filled with handmade items from 60 crafters, many of whom live in Central Virginia.
There are finds like holiday decor, wall prints, clothing, baked goods and much more. Twenty additional vendors are also set up outside on the pavilion.
The craft show, which has been around for 40 years, is usually free. But this year a $5 admission fee will benefit St. Joseph's Villa School of Autism.
The organization means a lot to inn owner and event creator Janice Clifton.
“I have a deep passion for St. Joseph's Villa. I was a director there for about 21 years,” Clifton explained. “The children with autism do come out and work here at the inn doing job skills [like] helping us set up chairs and tables, wiping things down.”
Tickets are sold in advance online to allow for social distancing. Guests also must wear masks at all times.
Christmas at Granny's is open Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
