RICHMOND, Va. -- Navigating a pandemic is hard. But doing it without a loving, supportive family by your side is especially tough. That is why we want to help find a family for 10-year-old Adame.

Caring, creative, and a bit on the quiet side, Adame is looking to build connections with others and does a great job of showing people how much he cares about them.

He enjoys math and science because he said, he liked doing work all day and science experiments.

He also plays soccer, football, and basketball.

"Parenting doesn't require anyone to be a superhero or a superpower. You simply have to have the capacity to love, to encourage to provide discipline and guidance and to provide structure to a young person," Nadine Marsh-Carter, president and CEO of Children's Home Society. said.

In Virginia, we have hundreds of children who are ready for foster to adoption. In other words, these children are ready to find their permanent and loving forever families. As Connecting Hearts – A Deborah J Johnston Charity, celebrates National Adoption Month, our “30 Kids in 30 Days” initiative is to bring awareness to 30 kids or sibling who are available for forever homes, but also to shed light on the other almost 700 children who may not be seen. Our kids are all ages and races, they were put in foster care due to no fault of their own. To learn more and becoming a foster to adoption parent(s)click here.
