RICHMOND, Va. — Many organizations are working to make sure every kid has a gift under the tree to open— including radio personality Community Clovia, who has been hosting a holiday toy drive for 18 years.

Candace Burns surprised her with a cart full of goodies to contribute to the toy drive.

Clovia said she's been holding the toy drive for nearly 20 years as a service to the community.

"You have parents who work hard every day and after they pay their monthly expenses, they can't afford gifts for the kids," she said. "Then you have families that earn too much for social services and still can't afford gifts for kids. And then we have our typical kids and then we have kids of trauma, kids of incarceration. We want to take care of all children."
