CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- As part of the CBS 6 Month of Giving and with the help of Virginia Credit Union, Reba Hollingsworth got to thank a nonprofit that is dedicated to helping women financially who are fighting breast cancer.
Pink Pearl Ladies, a Richmond-based nonprofit, was founded in 2010 as an outreach and support organization for breast cancer survivors, and women currently fighting the disease.
"You ladies are amazing," said Hollingsworth.
Hollingsworth surprised the Pink Pearl Ladies and a woman currently fighting breast cancer with some gift cards as a “thank you” for what they do in the community.
Brightening the community's Christmas season is part of CBS 6's Month of Giving mission.
