RICHMOND, Va. -- The CBS 6 Month of Giving is underway.
In celebration, CBS 6 reporter Claudia Rupcich filled the gas tanks for drivers at a Richmond-area Wawa.
“We are doing something special for this month of giving. We are doing something kind for people, so we would like to buy your gas,” said Claudia.
“Oh my God,” said one woman, who ran away in celebration. “Thank you soooo much. Oh my God!”
Every day through December, a CBS 6 team member will surprise someone in the community with a random act of kindness.
The CBS 6 Month of Giving is possible due to a partnership with Union Bank and Trust.
