Man shot on GRTC bus on Richmond’s Northside

RICHMOND, Va. -- A man is recovering after he was shot on a GRTC bus on Richmond's Northside Thursday night.

It happened just after 8:10 p.m. on Brookland Park Boulevard and North Avenue.

The victim suffered injuries police called not life-threatening.

Police have not released any information about a suspect or possible motive.

GRTC officials said the security camera video from the bus will be turned over to police.
