WASHINGTON DC. — Time to start planning your calendars, the Washington Redskins have released their 2016 regular-season schedule. The defending NFC East champions open the season on Sept. 12., in a Monday Night Football match-up against the Pittsburgh Steelers at FedExField.
The Redskins will renew their rivalry with the Dallas Cowboys in week two at FedEx Field, then again on Thanksgiving day, Thursday, Nov. 24 in Dallas.
In another intriguing match-up, team will face-off against former Quarterback Robert Griffin III and the Cleveland Browns at FedExField on Sunday, October 2 at 1 p.m.
In addition to the Monday night opener, the Redskins will host the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football and the Carolina Panthers on MNF in big prime time match-ups.
