MEDINA, Tenn. — It took firefighters in Tennessee nearly two hours to free a woman who got stuck inside a car hanging from a power pole Saturday.
The vehicle’s front tire appeared to be caught on a guide-line but police say they don’t know for sure how the car ended up in that position.
Crews reached the 56-year-old woman with a bucket-truck, smashed in a window, and got her out safely. She was checked for injuries at the hospital, and was reportedly not injured.
She told police that she was unfamiliar with the area and ran off the road while traveling too fast.
