Oprah and Ellen

Oprah Tells Ellen She is a Master…
Ellen: Thank you so much. It was so well done I texted you afterwards saying thank you so much because it was really. It’s so the whole series is amazing, but I can’t thank you enough it was great.

Oprah: Well we wanted you because you are a master of teaching people how to live their truth. It think obviously the show is wonderful and fun and people love you for who you are, but I think your true legacy the real work that you’ve done on the planet will be teaching people how to live authentically as themselves. That will be your work. That’s your real work.

Oprah On Weight Watchers & Staying Out of Jail…
Oprah: Since August 12th I have lost 15 pounds. But I am excited about Weight Watchers being able to bring a healthier more holistic approach for everybody. Now I didn’t tell you about it because I wanted to play the stay out of jail card.

Ellen: Uh-huh.

Oprah: For both of us.

Ellen: But did you know. Can I tell people what happened if they don’t know what happened? Do you mind?

Oprah: Ok tell them.

Ellen: Ok so Oprah bought what like 10% of the company. Is that what you bought?

Oprah: Yeah. I did.

Ellen: So the stocks were trading at $6 a share she buys what like $40,000,000 you put in. In one day she made $45,000,000 it doubled by the end of the day. Now had she made one phone call to me. I couldn’t have put 40,000,000 in but I could have put a little bit of money in.

Oprah: No but we want to stay out of jail so.

Ellen: Yea I know, but you didn’t know it was gonna double you were just investing in…

Oprah: No I certainty didn’t know that. I certainly didn’t know that.

Ellen: It’s good that you’re not hurting anymore though. I’m so happy for you.
