HANOVER, Va. — Some parts of the Kings Dominion park will be open, and free to the public, on Wednesday, Sept. 23; a day when all Henrico County students are off of school.

There are four courses total for the 12 races of the UCI Road World Championships, and one of them starts from Kings Dominion.

Shops and restaurants along International Street will be open as well as Dominator, Berserker, and the Eiffel Tower.

The starting line is right inside the front gates. The fan zone will also be extended outside the front gates where there will be food trucks, several vendors, and the VCU Peppas performing.

The hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Men’s Elite race begins at 1 p.m. and runs until 3:35 p.m.

Parking is free.
