Ladies slam Tallywackers on social media

Posted

DALLAS, Texas  -- There's a lot of talk about Tallywackers. You know, the new restaurant in Dallas that's like a guy version of Hooters? It officially opened for business Saturday. But some ladies say they aren't feeling the love and are slamming the place on social media.

Comments like, "How about some straight men?" And "All these women want a Hooters equivalent," made their way to cyberspace.

But folks we met Monday say they're open to checking out Tallywackers for themselves.

"I would stop by and see how it is. I'm not going to be disrespectful like, 'Oh, no I don't want to see this,' or 'It's too much butt in my face,' I wouldn't mind," Jeannette Hemphill said. "I would try it out. If the food's good, that's all I'm worried about."

"This is the gay era, so it is what it is. But I think it'd be entertaining either way," Andrea Kelley added.

"If the women can do it, why can't the men do it?" Terrianna Pippins asked. "They're walking around with their butt out, let them walk around with theirs out too."

No butts about it.
