RICHMOND, Va. -- Showers and a few thunderstorms will move across Central Virginia Thursday morning and afternoon. Some locations could see localized flooding, so please use caution. Temperatures will be significantly cooler, with highs in the 60s. Sunshine returns on Friday with highs in the upper 70s to around 80°. A cold front will pass through late Friday, resulting in highs on Saturday a few degrees cooler than Friday. A warmer southwesterly wind will push low and mid 80s back into the area on Sunday.
