RICHMOND, Va. — Virginia Union University awarded about 320 degrees at commencement exercises Saturday.
Graduation started at 10 this morning on Hovey Field.
The U.S. District Court Judge for the Eastern District of Virginia, who recently presided over former Governor Bob McDonnell's trial -- James Spencer -- was the keynote speaker.
And he shared some passionate words of encouragement.
