RICHMOND, Va. -- Multiple Richmond public high schools received bomb threats on Friday, according to police, except for Thomas Jefferson, Richmond Community, Open High and Maggie Walker.
Armstrong, Huguenot, John Marshall, and George Wythe schools were affected. Within an hour, police had cleared all but George Wythe.
SOL tests were underway today, a teacher said. The advanced placement tests were also underway, and those are timed tests. There is no word yet how those tests will be made up.
A spokesperson said that students affected will be able to retake the tests.
Richmond Police are working to track down who placed the call, so appropriate charges can be filed.
