Henrico: It's an annual tradition at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, the Mother's Day Weekend Celebration Friday, May 8th through Sunday, May 10th.
Friday, May 8: tours of historic Bloemendaal House from 11 am – 3 pm;
Saturday, May 9: activities in the Children’s Garden from 10 am - 4 pm. Stretch out on quilts and read favorite books, explore woodland walks & digging activities.
Sunday, May 10: The annual Mother's Day Concert featuring Glenroy Bailey & Co. from 1 - 4 pm at Bloemendaal House, food available for purchase under the tent at Bloemendaal House from noon – 3 pm and in the Café.
For the first time, the popular Butterflies LIVE! exhibit is open for Mother’s Day.
All activities, Butterflies LIVE! and the concert are free with Garden admission $12 adults; $11 seniors; $8 children ages 3 – 12 and free for children under age 3.
