HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — A $1 million Mega Millions ticket was sold in Henrico County, according to the Virginia Lottery. The winning ticket for the April 21 drawing was sold at the 7-Eleven located at Williamsburg Road. The winning numbers were 31-33-35-41-69 and the Mega Ball number was 11.

“This ticket matched the first five numbers and missed only the Mega Ball number,” a Virginia Lottery spokesman wrote. “That wins Mega Millions’ second prize of $1 million. Had the ticket matched all six numbers, it would have won the jackpot.”

The person who bought the $1 million ticket has 180 days to claim the prize.

“The winner should immediately sign the back of the ticket to establish ownership,” the Virginia Lottery advised. “When the person is ready to claim the million-dollar prize, he or she should contact the Virginia Lottery at 804-692-7777.”

Friday’s Mega Millions drawing will be worth an estimated $74 million.
