A Shaynefully Delicious Creation
4 Naan Bread “loaves” (found in the bakery section)
8 oz flavored cheese spread (boursin or alouette found in the fancy cheese section)
3 large sweet onions
Olive oil
1 t sugar
2 cups arugula, roughly chopped
4 oz prosciutto, sliced thin
Start by thinly slicing the onions, add them to a skillet preheated to medium and coated with olive oil. Sprinkle with the sugar. Be patient, this could take about 20 minutes. When the onions have started to brown, preheat the oven to 375 and place the naan loaves in the oven directly on the racks. Heat just until they crisp, about 5 minutes. Spread cheese over naan, sprinkle on warm caramelized onions, top with arugula and prosciutto. Enjoy.
