Cool Spring Challenger Sports provides a place where special needs children become successful athletes

RICHMOND, Va - Cool Spring Baptist Church hosts a unique sports ministry, Cool Spring Challenger Sports, created for children ages five to 16 with special needs. Challenger Sports Director Ed Berenson and Recreation Minister Greg English visited the studio to share details about what opportunities Challenger Sports has to offer. They create a team environment where special needs children become competitive and successful athletes, and also gives parents of these children the opportunity to see their special needs children succeed, bringing together families that have a common bond and lets them know they and their child have a place where they can feel included.
