RICHMOND, Va — Two Virginia cities have made it onto the next “Monopoly: Here and Now” edition.
Virginia Beach and Chesapeake were among 22 cities selected. Virginia Beach received the fourth highest number of votes in an online contest, earning it a green spot on the board.
Chesapeake won the wildcard round, earning it a brown spot.
The top Boardwalk spot, though, went to an unexpected contender: Pierre, South Dakota. It got the highest number of votes, beating out cities like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Boston.
